Vitoftal Lutein

Vitoftal Lutein is a complementary food based on nutrients that contribute to eye health. Highly palatable gel indicated for eye processes.

The indications for which you can prescribe include:

• Coadjuvant therapy in degenerative diseases of the retina and the lens.
• Tissue protection against photo-oxidative stress associated with various eye diseases.
• Protection against aberrant neovasculation associated with blindness and affecting the retina and choroid.
• Protection of the optic nerve.

Vitoftal® Lutein provides nutrients for:

• Help protect eye tissues such as the retina, lens, and optic nerve.
• Maintain the quality of the tear.

It comes in the form of a highly palatable gel, which helps its administration to be very comfortable. It can be administered directly or mixed with the usual food. Shake before using.

Posology

• Cats: up to 5 kg of weight, 1 ml per day. From 5 kg: 2 ml per day.
• Dogs: 1 ml for every 5 kg of weight per day. From 35 kg of weight, 8 ml per day.

Ingredients

• Lutein, Zeaxanthin and Astaxanthin: antioxidant pigments, which help protect the retina from oxidative damage and aging.
• Lycopene: carotenoid that is part of the retina.
• Polygonum cuspidatum rich in Resveratrol: antioxidant substance that helps protect eye tissues against oxidative processes associated with vision loss.
• DHA: fatty acid that is part of the eye structure.
• Coenzyme Q10: antioxidant nutrient that helps protect the optic nerve.
• EGCG: substance with known antioxidant activity.
• Taurine: essential amino acid for cats.
• Vitamins and Minerals such as Zinc, Copper, Selenium, Vitamin A, C and Group B: they help neutralize free radicals that can damage the eye system.
• Vitamin E: helps maintain vision.

Format: 50 ml container with a dosing syringe. Gel orally.
