The alterations of the keratinization or "seborrheic syndrome" group a set of dermatoses of frequent presentation in canine dermatology, whose most striking clinical manifestation is desquamation.
Seborrhea manifests as a thickening of the stratum corneum of the epidermis due to a defect in the exfoliation of the skin, causing accumulation of dead cells (in the form of scales) and secretions in the skin of the animal.
Most keratoseborrheic processes are complicated by bacterial infections or by Malassezia.

The Kerato line contains gluconolactone, in addition to other components such as urea or salicylic, lactic, glycolic, citric, malic and tartaric acids that exert keratolytic and keratoplastic effects necessary to cleanse the skin and eliminate dead cells. They also help to nourish and regenerate the structure of the skin and maintain its balance.
It has no undesirable effects so it can be used even in sensitive skin animals
